Vivid Sydney 2016

Vivid Sydney is slowly crawling up the ladder of the best international festivals and for good reason. I love going every year to have a look at all the lights and projections all over the city. It's a really beautiful festival and, in case you're not able to swing by Sydney, I've got some photos to show you!

The Museum of Contemporary Art showing itself off on the Sydney waterfront. Later, projected paint dripping made it look like the building was melting.

I was really excited to see so much Indigenous imagery incorporated into the festival this year including dot painting and black crows projected on the Opera House.

Perhaps the most popular installation was the Cathedral of Lights in the Botanic Gardens. All the little lights are shaped like flowers making it particularly suited to the gardens. I was not the only one stopping at the entrance to snap a pic!
