My Favourites from Urban Decay

Thursday, 26 March 2015

Tomorrow is due to be a very exciting day for Australian makeup lovers as beauty giant Urban Decay launches at Mecca Maxima. There are heaps of events planned across the country so it's shaping up to be a day to remember. If you don't have a lot of experience with the brand, I've compiled a list of my favourite products to reach for from Urban Decay.

the Naked Palettes
The neutral palette to begin all neutral palettes is still one of the most talked about products in the online beauty community. Consisting of matte, shimmer, and glitter shades in a range of neutrals, the Naked Palettes are a real must-have. The three palettes cover warm, cool, and pink neutral collections and quickly become a staple in any makeup collection.

the Naked Basics Palettes
Released recently as a 'complement palette' the Naked Basics Palette is for all the matte eye lovers out there. A collection of buttery, everyday matte shadows, this palette proves incredibly handy on its own or in conjunction with any of your other palettes. The original is very popular but I personally prefer the cooler tones in the Naked 2 Basics.

the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils
One of the largest collections of colours and finishes in any eye pencil collection, the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils have held cult status for years. While not the most long-wearing formula, they're smooth, blendable, and a joy to match to any eye look no matter the colour scheme or occasion.

the Naked Flushed Palettes
Launched in conjunction with the Naked Basics Palette, this range has expanded to include four shades. I love having a bronzer, blush, and highlighter handily in one small palette ideal for travelling or applying makeup without hassle in the morning. My favourite is the peachy-pink Streak but the selection will help you find something that fits you just right.

I'm most excited to get my hands on the Urban Decay lip products, myself. But also the Naked Concealer after hearing so many bloggers rave about it from overseas!

What will you be racing into store to purchase after tomorrow?

xx Julia
