Review: Rimmel Scandel'Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in 001 Nude

Now, I am sure that you've heard about this product before, especially if you've spent any time amongst the online beauty community, but because I love mine so much, I thought I would make a post about it just in case! This product is, of course, the Rimmel Scandel'Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in 001 Nude.

I think this eyeliner gets so much attention online because it is one of very few proper nude eyeliners sold in the drugstore. That makes it widely available and affordable, and, thus, popular. But even without all the hype, it's a great eyeliner!

It comes in a pencil form but the liner itself is so creamy and wonderful that it just doesn't compare to your stereotypical, scratchy pencil liner. The pigmentation is also great so there's no tugging at your eye with application and it lasts longer because you don't need as much product to get the same effect.

The best use of nude liners and what makes them so sought-after, is lining your waterline with them. Similar to how white liner used to be used, this brightens and widens the eye to make you look more awake and well-rested. Nude, though, is a much more natural shade than white so it doesn't look quite so stark or harsh on the waterline. This is great if you're a student and just spent all night finishing an assignment but don't want to look half asleep in class the next morning!

I honestly use this product every single day and it has become an irreplaceable part of my everyday makeup routine. Nothing compares to it for this price and I highly, highly recommend picking this liner up next time you're browsing the makeup aisles.

Even if you don't want a nude shade, the Scandel'Eyes range is fantastic. They have your traditional black and brown, but they also carry super fun colours like a light blue and a bright orange! Whatever you're looking for, this formulation is excellent.

xx Julia
